Global Energy Ventures concluded an award from MODEC to fabricate & install Sand Control & Seawater Overboard pipe works and support structures to FPSO Baobab, offshore Abidjan. The fabrication works were carried out at our local facilities and installed by our in house rigging team during the vessels planned shutdown on a very tight schedule.
Scope of works included:
- Initial site surveys
- Procurement and preparation of pipe & substructures
- Fabrication & painting onshore & offshore
- All NDT inspections
- Offshore installation works including rigging services
