Global Energy Ventures were the 1st Inspections company to enter the Ghanaian market in 2008. Since its inception in the region the Group has expanded rapidly and in 2010 invested US$1M to develop purpose built facilities located off Dupaul Rd, Takoradi.
Offices and fabrication yard.The new premises consist of pressure testing facilities, modern 2 storey offices, fabrication & inspection workshops occupying over 7,000sqm allowing for large scale oilfield fabrication and inspections.
Management at our Ghanaian operations work very closely with our Ivorian team to support each other where necessary drawing on a significant skilled manpower resource pool as well as providing base support to deliver our services across the African Continent.
Darren Last heads up the Groups Ghanaian operations overseeing all aspects of inspection & lifting services as well as developing and managing the companies rapid growth in offshore & onshore construction services to our partners assets.
Prior to his appointment with the Group, Darren worked as a Construction Supervisor & Project Manager for AMEC as well as managing technicians & maintenance crews on platforms including OIM positions for NUI’s owned by Shell & BP in the North Sea, UK.
